Biography
Maria Asuncion “Shion” Canen is the Assistant Vice President and Head of Enterprise Sales for the Visayas and Mindanao (VisMin) at Converge Global Business, the corporate and enterprise unit of Converge ICT Solutions. She leads Converge’s push to serve businesses and local governments across VisMin, a market where the company first built its fiber network for residential customers. In 2024 she presented Converge Business Interchange, the company’s first enterprise roadshow in Davao City. In May 2026 she took part in Converge’s smart-city partnership with Danao City, where she described the company’s commitment to public-sector digital transformation. In October 2026 she led Converge’s team at a Cebu workshop for local government units, where she spoke about tailored, resilient enterprise solutions for LGUs.
