Biography

Dir. Dennis D. Villaseñor, MNSA, CESO III, is the Director of the National Barangay Operations Office (NBOO) of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), the office that supports the department’s work with the country’s barangays. A career executive service officer, he previously served as Director of DILG’s Negros Island Region (DILG-NIR). He is a supporter of safer and more resilient communities, and he has spoken in support of coordinated, multi-agency work on preventing and countering violent extremism at the barangay level.
